This is a set of try on cords. I use these all the time and find this particular cord extra “sticky”. Simply push one end of the hollow cord on the tip of your knitting needle and pull through your live stitches. This allows you to easily try on garments as you are knitting them or put sleeves or body on hold while working on a different section of your project. This set includes 3 cords. 1 long enough to put a sweater body on hold and 2 shorter ones to put sleeves on hold. These have become essential in my toolbox.
